What is rhodium plating?
Rhodium is a precious metal, part of the platinum family and more expensive than gold. It is rhodium plating that gives white gold its beautiful colour and sheen, and it can be used to add a luxurious plating to sterling silver jewellery, giving items a lovely shine in a slightly darker grey tone compared to the brightness of silver. This plating helps to protect those precious pieces of jewellery from scratching and tarnishing.
Rhodium plating is hypoallergenic.

Cleaning requires just a soft cloth along with mild soap and water. How long the plating lasts, will depend on how often you wear your jewellery and how you protect it. As the plating is on silver and the colours are similar, you may only notice it starting to wear off if your jewellery tarnishes (starts to develop dark patches). You may choose to have it re-plated, or it can be left as sterling silver and still be just as beautiful. Tarnish can be removed from silver using a silver polishing cloth.

Does your jewellery come gift boxed?
Yes it does. Unless stated otherwise, all of our jewellery will be sent to you in one of our beautiful gift boxes , hand-wrapped with ribbon, along with a short guide on how to care for your jewellery. The outer box and tissue paper will be unbranded so that you may re-use it.

How do I clean my jewellery?
Rhodium plated sterling silver jewellery can be gently cleaned with mild soap and water and a microfibre cloth, making sure to rinse and dry thoroughly. Please do not use any silver cleaning products, toothpastes, chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Sterling silver jewellery can be cleaned with a sterling silver polishing cloth to restore shine and remove any tarnishing.

We recommend that all jewellery be removed and stored safely before sleeping, showering, bathing, swimming or using a steam room or sauna.

Can I order a different chain length?
Yes of course! If the item you would like to purchase does not have the option of choosing a different chain length, please contact us and we will assist you. We have in stock 14", 16" and 18" sterling silver and rhodium plated sterling silver chains. If you would like a longer length or a different type of chain, again, please contact us and we will source this for you.
I have an idea in mind of a pendant I would like, would you be able to stock it?
If you cannot see the item you would like, please contact us and we will do our best to source it for you. We give no promises, but we will absolutely try.
Do I have to pay for a gift box?
All of our jewellery is posted in complementary gift boxes. There is no additional cost. If you would prefer not to have your items delivered in a box, please contact us and we will change this for you.
